This winsome podcast features Philadelphia’s premiere guitarist, Allen Krantz, in conversation with Suzanne DuPlantis, co-artistic director of Lyric Fest. Their wide-ranging discussion features repertoire, styles, arrangements and a host of other engaging topics, interspersed with spontaneous performances of several pieces. They will be joined by mezzo Emily Drummond on April 3rd (Moorestown Community House in Moorestown, NJ @ 6 PM) and 4th (Philadelphia Ethical Society, Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia @ 5:30) for these happy-hour mini-concerts. Their program is inspired by the art of the guitar and the songs that it has tenderly accompanied through the years, with classical, folk, jazz and modern songs standing side by side.
