The 92nd Street Y – New York City, NY

Damien Geter’s COTTON, conceived and commissioned by Lyric Fest, will be presented at the 92nd Street Y with Denyce Graves, mezzo soprano, Justin Austin, baritone and Laura Ward, piano in April 2024. Based on the fine art cotton photography and story of John Dowell, and featuring the poetry of eight nationally renowned poets, COTTON was first premiered to sold-out audiences in Philadelphia and at the Kennedy Center in February of 2022. Lyric Fest will host a special shuttle travel experience for patrons interested in traveling to NYC for this performance, ticketed through Lyric Fest. All other tickets can be purchases through the 92nd Street Y.
