The vibrant, poignant winter poems of Jeanne Minahan are given new voice by brilliant young composer, Benjamin Perry Wenzelberg. Any of those Decembers was commissioned by Lyric Fest to be presented just in time for the holidays. It meditates on fond memories and the tender experiences of winter, childhood, reunion, and holiday. With soprano Rebecca Myers, mezzo soprano Devony Smith, tenor Stephen Ng and baritone Steven Eddy, in solo and ensemble, joined by the Daedalus Quartet, Ráyo Furuta, flute, and Laura Ward, piano.
