The works of Giuseppe Verdi are the backbone of Mr. Youngblood’s repertoire. He is pleased to begin his 2024 – ’25 season with performances of Sharpless in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly in a new production by director Mo Zhou, followed by performances of the world premiere opera Loksi Shaali (Shell Shaker) by Chickasaw composer Jerod Tate, and performances of Rigoletto in Oregon and Victoria, B.C. Chamber music performances this season include song recitals in his hometown of Wilmington, and in Philadelphia.
