In honor of the 100th Anniversary of his birth, Lyric Fest presents a theatrical concert featuring the works of a towering composer of the 20th Century, Benjamin Britten. Political and musical intrigue are set against the backdrop of the two World Wars, revealing a fascinating story through a cast of characters that includes Britten’s life partner and collaborator, Peter Pears, physicist Albert Einstein, poet W.H. Auden, violinist Yehudi Menuhin and many composers of his day. A distinguished cast will bring Benjamin Britten to life with songs, letters and biographical narration.
