In this lively introduction to opera for young audiences, Lyric Fest presents three semi-staged mini-versions of The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville and Hansel and Gretel. Narrated by a puckish Imp and a lovable Fairy-God Mother. Q-and-A session immediately after the program. Approximate run time: 1 hour 30 minutes, including the Q-and-A session. There will be no intermission.
Artists: actor Jake Miller, singers Markus Beam, Jeffrey Halili, Abla Hamza, Maggie Moliterno, Daniel Pantano, Katherine Pracht, Sheryl Woods, Suzanne DuPlantis, Randi Marrazzo, with pianist Laura Ward.
