Sheryl Woods

Sheryl Woods first came to national attention when, as an apprentice artist at the Santa Fe Opera, she stepped in to replace the leading lady in –Le Comte Ory. Subsequently, Miss Woods has appeared in most of the country’s major and regional opera houses in roles ranging from Gilda, Lucia, Violetta and Marguerite to Virginia Poe in Dominic Argento’s –Voyage of Edgar Allan Poe” and Blanche in –Streetcar Named Desire” by Andre Previn.
